Before launching Summit Custom Sign Company with his wife Kelly, Jim held several positions in both the public and private business sectors. Jim is a retired Detective from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. After retiring from the Sheriff’s Department, Jim started doing white-collar fraud investigations for a large Financial Services corporation. This exposure lead Jim to several additional opportunities and he found himself handling numerous other positions within the corporate world. Jim has held the positions of Fraud Investigator, Director of Security and Director of Business Continuity. He has also worked in Executive and Celebrity protection. During his tenure in the corporate world, Jim was transferred to the Houston office. After living there for three years, Jim and his wife Kelly decided to open their own Sign business and relocate to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Jim Pacina is a California native. He attended California State University, Long Beach and graduated with a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice. He is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), a licensed Private Investigator and most importantly, an extremely proud father of two daughters. Jim truly loves the Colorado Springs area. Jim can be quoted as saying, “I might not have been born in Colorado Springs, but this is where I will die.”
